TPDE_03 An International Conference in Óbidos / 7-10 June 2003

The international conference on TRENDS IN PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS OF MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS (TPDE_03) will take place the 7-10 June 2003, in Óbidos, Portugal, and is held on the occasion of the 70th birthday of V. A. Solonnikov.

In addition to the invited speakers, H. Amann (Univ. Zürich, Switzerland), L. Caffarelli (Univ. Texas, Austin, USA), E. DiBenedetto (Vanderbilt Univ., Nashville, USA), Y. Giga (Hokkaido Univ., Sapporo, Japan), O. Ladyzhenskaya (POMI, St. Petersburg, Russia), LI Tatsien (Fudan Univ., Shanghai, China), V. Mazya (Linköping Univ., Sweden), J. Toland (Univ. Bath, UK), N. Trudinger (ANU, Canberra, Australia), N. Ural'tseva (Univ. St. Petersburg, Russia), several other registered participants will have the opportunity to communicate an original paper to be included in a book dedicated to Vsevolod A. Solonnikov.

The conference TPDE_03 is organized by a consortium of four Portuguese universities (Univ. Lisbon, Univ. Coimbra, Tech.Univ. Lisboa, and Univ. Beira Interior) in collaboration with the St.Petersburg Steklov Mathematical Institute.

The Programme Committee is composed by S. Antontsev (CM-UBI, Covilhă), A. Meirmanov (Univ. Hanty-Mansiisk), J. F. Rodrigues (CMAF-UL, Lisbon), A. Sequeira (CEMAT-IST, Lisbon), G. Seregin (POMI, St. Petersburg) and J. M. Urbano (CMUC, Coimbra).
