Consistently with the interdisciplinary character of free boundary
problems, this conference will see the participation of mathematical
analysts and also mathematical physicists and applied scientists. As in
previous conferences, the focus will be on topics that either directly
refer to free boundaries, or are of potential interest for researchers
in that field: on account of the broad spectrum of free boundary
problems, this leaves room to a large number of issues in mathematical
analysis and applied mathematics.
